Easter weekend was filled with fun and reminders of the many blessings our little family shares. The boys dyed eggs, did crafts, and made cards for the drummer at Church. (He is a celebrity to them.) With no school on Friday there was lots of staying up late and waking up too early. Noah even lost another tooth and was visited by the tooth fairy Friday night.
Sunday morning after a fairly low key egg hunt, Dad treated us to Belgian waffles topped with cookies 'n cream ice cream, strawberries (the good syrupy kind), and whipped cream. Perfect compliment to the Easter candy we were already eating. After Church we vegged out on the couch for an hour...or two, then headed to Uncle Dave's house for another egg hunt provided by Tyler, and a delicious meal. Home and in bed, lights out by 8....for everyone.
So nice to be able to dye Easter eggs outside...especially since we have new floors in the kitchen.
