Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day, the boys both opted to take goodies to school.  Noah was only one of 3 kids in his 5th grade class who brought in Valentine's and he was super excited.  No shame.  I love it.

The boys had fun opening packages from family and friends….

And just this morning, I found this note for Noah and Jonah in Caleb's backpack.  Love.

The letter is classic because Jonah is currently in a stage of hiding everything behind his back and always walking away backwards to keep it hidden.

Check out the little ways in which we celebrated Valentine's Day.

Heart shaped placemats for breakfast that said, "We love you because...."  and Dad and I filled in different reasons we love the boys.  Guess I forgot to take a picture of that.  They were soon topped with heart shaped cinnamon rolls, thanks to Pinterest.  Of course mine didn't look this great.

Also thanks to Pinterest our boys shared treats like these with their classmates.

We made chocolate covered strawberries for our dessert after dinner, but the highlight of this holiday was the school dance on Friday night.  All the boys had a blast!
