Busy Saturday

Saturday started with soccer for Noah. He scored 1 goal in the first half and logged a shut out as goalie in the second.
Next to Caleb's baseball game where he went 2 for 3 and played some great defense at the pitcher's position. (No pic)
Then to Caleb's soccer game where he scored a goal and had 2 assists.
Then to Noah's basketball game where he played a great game in a tough loss. 3 points and 10 rebounds!
Finally, to a karate birthday party for Caleb's friend....
Whew! Busy day. Not to mention the house full of people Caleb and I came home to! Ready for a relaxing Sunday.

Spring Training

Today we went to our first spring training game of the season as a family. We headed over to the new Salt River Fields to meet some friends for an afternoon game between the Diamondbacks and the Cubs. It was perfect weather for a spring training game. That is assuming you are not 5 months pregnant and wearing compression stockings and jeans to cover them up. :)

The boys stopped to watch the some of the Colorado Rockies players (who share this facility with the Diamondbacks) in the batting cages and on the field.

Caleb even got into the full spirit of spring break going "skins" in our lawn seats to work on that farmer's tan.

The facility is brand new and absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully we can find more time to sneak over there throughout the next few weeks and check out some practices and such. But who am I kidding, I can barely find time shower and dress myself these days. And if I do have the time, I certainly do not have the energy.
