Happy 1st Birthday Molly

Saturday, April 2, we celebrated Molly's first birthday. No big party, just a dog bagel for her and a piece of cake (minus the chocolate icing). It's hard to believe we have had her for almost a full year already. She was so tiny when we got her...and it's a good thing to because she was too small and timid to hurt Caleb when he drug her around. Their relationship has progressed from dragging her by her tail to now him trying to ride her like a pony and holding up her to front legs to dance with her. I'm pretty sure she hates it, but she just obliges. You can't really hate a little man that feeds you bacon off his plate.
Noah is the best at taking her for walks and playing fetch with her. And speaking of fetch, she is the FASTEST dog ever. And she loves to tear up the gravel yards in our neighborhood. She is sort of the neighborhood dog. Everyone knows her and the kids all love her. We totally lucked out with her being so great with kids...and never running away, since we rarely use a leash. She even manages to escape our backyard by jumping the 6 foot plus cinder block wall and waits on the front porch for us to get home after she visits her neighborhood friends.

As Caleb says, "Who's a good gill? Who's a good gill? It's Molly!"
