Easter

Easter morning we hunted eggs, headed to church, then spent time with family at Uncle Dave and Aunt Nikki's house.

Easter came and went in the blink of an eye around here.  Much of life seems to be passing in that fashion lately!  Here are a few of our favorite pics from the Holiday.

We painted Easter bags….instead of having baskets this year.

We got aggressive when it came to dying eggs! 

Finally it was Easter morning and the bunny remembered to fill our bags!!! 

 That crazy bunny hid real eggs all over the house….one of which I found today (9 days after Easter), and he hid plastic eggs all over the yard….upon which it rained and saturated the candy and goodies inside each egg.  

You win some, you loose some.  What can I say?

 The hunting part was still fun!

 

The boys and I had made a special Easter cake for everyone to enjoy.  Blue raspberry cake with orange cream frosting…..boys' choice.

 Jonah had fun destroying all of the plastic eggs…then he took a bath with them all later in the day. :)

 The bunny forgot to leave a tally of the total real eggs hidden in the house.  Clearly a few were still missing after the hunt.

Here are the boys as we headed into church…just as cute as can be. 

And Dad did a great job as Uncle having baby duty during church! 

Easter

What a fun day filled with family and friends.  The boys were up EARLY and the egg hunt was on.  The bunny thought since the boys were getting older, he should be a bit more difficult.  Turns out, the boys don't actually like the hunt...they just like the finding!

 Later that morning we headed down to our picnic area and had some friends join us for a delicious brunch with a decent view. :)

 At the end of the day, there was lots of lying around with overstuffed bellies.
