Best part of my night.....after I tuck my boys in turn out the lights and close the door, Noah says, "Good night , Caleb. I love you." Caleb responds, "Good night. I love YOU!" And my heart melts as I walk down the hall.
I really enjoy my job. I've always enjoyed real estate and as a bonus, I have made some great friends. And I am subbing at Caleb's school....my first day (so far) is in November. Kindergarten class is going to be a bit of a change from high school.
I am STILL on a waiting list for school.
Eric's fiscal year end makes me want to barf. I am over the 14 hour days. I am over working Saturday and Sunday of my 30th birthday weekend.
Speaking of that, I really am excited for my birthday on Saturday. Soccer game in the morning and chess tournament all afternoon....minus Dad. Saturday night is still up in the air. Perhaps we'll take the kids on a gondola ride. Plus the following weekend is girl's trip to Vegas!!! Two of my "moms," four of my "sisters," and my two best friends from different stages of my life. It will be amazing.
We are missing one "sister" on the Vegas trip, and she of all people needs the trip the most. My cousin needs your thoughts and prayers. Part of their NC Fort Bragg family has been taken away and they are hurting. Please say a prayer for them all and for the guys that remain overseas. Get the rest of them home soon! Get them home safe!
On that note, it is unbelievable that I am complaining about Eric's fiscal year end. Really? I'm upset. Let me tell the women whose husbands lives are in danger overseas...who are raising their babies themselves, seeing their dads more on Skype than in real life. "Eric works from home. I see him every morning and every night. He even comes out of his office for 10 minutes at dinner!" How dare him. Who am I kidding...HOW DARE ME? Hello, reality check.
