Now That's a Productive Weekend

2 days...1 list
  • trim the tree out front and clean up the yard
  • program the thermostat
  • replace the mailbox
  • replace the front porch light
  • clean the family room, top to bottom
  • vacuum the pool
  • make veggie soup for lunches this week
  • hang ceiling fan in the toy room
  • replace the light switch
  • hang the dining room chandelier
  • laundry
  • wash the boys sheets
  • clean out Molly's bed (her crate)
  • sweep the back porch
  • wash and vacuum the car
  • shampoo carpets in the car
  • clean boys' room...thoroughly
  • reorganize DVD case
  • bake cupcakes
  • clean/vacuum toy room
  • give boys a bath
  • trim boys' fingers and toenails
  • give Molly a bath
  • go to church
  • volunteer at church nursery
  • clean hall bath
  • trim, or if you are Eric, cut down back-yard tree
  • burn all remaining yard waste that doesn't fit into trash bin
  • avoid any neighbors calling the fire dept.
  • reorganize/declutter file cabinet
  • pack Noah's backpack for first day of school (in 2 weeks)
  • pack a bag of goodies for Caleb's teacher for his first day (2 weeks and 2 days)

All that, and we found time to have dinner and a game night at our friend's house across the street on Saturday night, and have T and Megs over Sunday for lunch and swimming. Sunday evening called for a relaxing bath for mom...complete with Aveda bath salts and some Lavender aromatherapy. Add a glass of wine and an out of control weird/scary James Patterson novel....good plan. It's a good thing Caleb was there every 30 seconds or so to smell the "stinky bath" so I didn't freak myself out too much.

By the way, in case you were questioning who did what, Eric dominated our to-do list. I have the best husband in the world. For sure. I was exhausted just watching him.
