Saturday morning Eric headed out for a round of golf, while the kids and I spent the morning people watching at Dunkin' Doughnuts! We even met a bird named Panama Jack who loved to talk to the boys. Saturday afternoon we headed to a birthday party at one of Caleb's classmates house. Yes, that is Caleb, not Noah. The entire family was invited and we had a great time meeting new people and enjoying the Arizona lifestyle! Here are some pics of the boys swimming with their friends. At the party, there was an infant/toddler swim instructor whom was a friend of the family. Caleb was his new best friend as he has teaching him to float, glide, and roll in the water all on his own! We will be signing him up for swim lessons today!
On Sunday, we headed to church and then straight to our neighbors house. Their little girl was turning 2 years old and we were celebrating with a birthday brunch. We enjoyed the time with our friends and their family members who are visiting from Germany. We left the party a bit early to head down to the baseball game. The D'backs were playing the Astros, and the boys had free tickets from their summer reading program. Thanks goodness it was 111 outside, so the roof was closed and the air was on! We didn't last long...more on that soon, and headed back to the birthday gathering. We finished the weekend off at the library, gathering new reading material for the fam. And in honor of their cousin, Aidan, Noah and Caleb chose to borrow the movie Mary Poppins and watched the first half before bed.
And so begins another week....hopefully I will make more time for regular updates to the blog! We have lots going on this week.
