This past Saturday, the boys and I headed over to the Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House. They were having a free family day, known as ArtSpree, with all sorts of fun activities for the kids....and adults too.
The boys and I spent time molding clay at the pottery tent, walking through the gorgeous gardens, getting faces painted, stamping, and watching a puppet show. I tried to get the boys to do the Zumba class with me, but they passed.
The other highlight of the day of course was riding the school bus there. :)
My boys could have stayed in this pottery tent ALL DAY. There was some really creative stuff coming out of this tent that day. We left with an awesome snowman and a sweet jeweled ball. :)
Part of the art on display was a collection of crochet (or knitted, I don't know the diff) pieces that adorned many of the trees and plants around the grounds of the museum. It was awesome.
Jonah tried to destroy everyone's art while it dried.
Our walk through the garden was more like a "try to keep up with Noah and Caleb while keeping Jonah from eating all the dirt and plants he encounters" journey.
Puppy dog face painting.
And the entrance to the puppet show.
