Caleb is 5!

He made it!  He is FIVE years old! 

Caleb is such a little bundle of energy.  He is so sweet and can be such a beast!  He tortures and loves on his dog, Molly, on a daily basis, and she loves every minute of it.  He idolizes his brother, Noah, and it drives Noah crazy!  If you ask Caleb what his favorite ________ (insert anything) is or what he wants to do, he responds, "Well actually, I was going to let Noah tell you."   Speaking of that, his favorite word is actually.  Every statement begins like so, "Actually, ...." 
He is a smart little booger.  He can write his first and last name (and several other words too).  He has begun reading, mastering his simple phonics books, and reading signs and such everywhere we go.  He has a math brain, much like Noah, and loves adding and subtracting.  He absolutely LOVES video games.  Right now, Mario Party 8 is his favorite!  He is working on riding a two wheeler bike.  Now that the weather is finally cooling off, we can work more on that.  He loves all sports, especially those that Noah loves, and he is a great swimmer!  And, last weekend, in his first soccer game as a five year old, he scored his first goal!!!

That night, all the friends in our neighborhood surprised Caleb with a cupcake celebration in our driveway when we got home from soccer.  The next morning, the celebration continued with The Lion King 3D, the some Play Factory time!
