AMY - Arizona Museum for Youth

One of our field trip's this week took us to the Arizona Museum for Youth. It was our first visit and kept us plenty entertained for over 3 hours. I would like to point out that this trip had nothing to do with our theme this week. In fact, that field trip was cancelled upon arrival due to construction. Just an attempt to get out of the house and pass another day making us one day closer to having this baby. :) Here are the boys out side the museum. Another thing to point out, I had nothing to do with posing the boys for this picture. I have been known in the past (aka called out by my hubby) to pose the boys for photos, but this was totally unsolicited.

Some of our activities that day included a story time, drawing on the wall, LOTS of puzzles, and sand paintings as seen below.

We also played some dress up,
played on the giant light-bright,
and even made some large murals for Dad's birthday. They also had a large Cactus League baseball exhibit which mainly featured the Cubs as the museum is in Mesa where Cubs spring training is located. The boys played baseball on Wii sports, made baseball hats, dressed up like hot dog vendors and even built a replica of Wrigley Field.
Continuing to do our best to pass each and every day of the summer in a fun, productive manner.
