Family Weekend in Sedona

Last weekend, our family headed up to Sedona for a relaxing weekend with just the four of us. We seldom do getaways with "just us" so when we do, they seem extra special. We were given two nights at The Seven Canyons and had a great time doing nothing! We did the usual arrival routine of any vacation with kids. You know, running around the house jumping on all the beds, opening every door, cabinet, and drawer in sight. We settled in for the night with a movie.

The next morning, all the boys took a 7:00a.m. dip in the jacuzzi and were steaming in the cold air.

Noah, Caleb, and I went for a walk to check out the area. We watched some golfers and played in the leaves.

They spent most of their time playing on the playground outside our villa.

And you can never rule out a game of chess in this family.

We ended the day with Christmas cookies and another movie.

The next morning, we had a failed attempt at waffles for breakfast, then headed back down to the Valley for Noah's last soccer game.
