This past weekend, Eric's mom and a family friend, Gale, came to stay with us and soak up little desert sunshine. And by little, I mean that they both went home looking like lobsters! Beyond the burns, we had an awesome time. The girls arrived early Saturday morning and just missed Noah's morning sports. We spent the afternoon outside and then headed by our "hopefully new house on Monday, " then headed to Aunt Chiladas for some yummy Mexican food.
Sunday morning we headed up Squaw Peak. The ladies were troopers and both boys did great, for only their second hike up that mountain. Noah made it ALL the way to the top on his own and Caleb required only minimal piggy-backing. We followed up the calorie-burning with a LARGE meal at Chompie's, then relaxed the afternoon away in the backyard.

Monday included a whole lot more "vacation" relaxing before Noah's Tball game that evening. Monday night is also Minute to Win it. There are a handful of shows that we always let the boys watch, and this is one of them. Apparently the adults couldn't get enough of it, because after the kids went to bed, we had our own show. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.
