Tis the Season...

for holiday lights, Christmas cookies, and choral concerts. Tonight we had all 3!
Caleb had his first ever Christmas concert where he performed four songs! Getting a group of 20 something 3 year olds to focus and sing together is a mighty feat. The teachers at Chaparral Christian Preschool did a fine job putting together tonight's show. Here is a picture of Caleb, in the middle, performing 5 Little Candles.

And here is some video of his Jingle Bell performance. (You may need some Dramamine before watching. I was trying to film with the camera and watch with my eyes...trying to soak it all in. :))

After a cookie and punch reception, we stopped for ice cream....yes, ice cream. It was warm today! Actually, I owed Noah some ice cream from last week. And, I bribed Caleb tonight to change out of his Elmo t-shirt before the concert. Yes, I admit, I bribe my children. Sometimes it is totally worth it.

On our drive home we passed our favorite neighborhood light display. Tis the season...

  1. Bribery is a good excuse to get some ice cream yourself, right?! :)
