Are We There Yet?

It's almost that time of year. Each summer, my family gets together for a trip to the beach. (Minus one year we went to the lake.) My mom, husband, kids, siblings, sibling-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins, cousin-in-laws, first cousins once removed (or something like that :) all get together for one fun-filled week in the sun! And yes, we ALL stay in ONE house! We have done this for five years now. And as we count down until family vaca number 6, here is a brief look back at the past five years and some special memories...

Year 1- North Myrtle Beach

Aidan and Noah spider crawling on the beach...and who can forget Uncle C off the upper deck into the mini-pool? :)

Year 2- Tan-Tar-A, Lake of the Ozarks

Uncle Al's first family vaca!!!! Cryst-al Light.

Year 3- Destin

The hurricane that brought in the giant yellow buoy was awesome! And I was pregnant with Caleb :)

Year 4- Water Sound Beach

The beautiful boardwalk...and poor Kate's wipeout!

Year 5- Hilton Head Island

Aidan learning how to swim!!! Tyler's cast. All my nieces and nephews, and Noah, getting so old, and becoming great ocean swimmers and body surfers!

Looking forward to new family members on the beach (babies and big kids), puzzles, Ahhsh's kid box, seafood, sandcastles, and good times on the reg.
