On March 30, Noah's school celebrated its first annual International Day Ho'olaule'a.
Each grade represented a different country or culture and performed a traditional song and dance to represent it.
The third graders represented the country of Mexico. They did the Conga, the Mexican Hat Dance, and sang La Cucaracha. It was so cute! I don't think it matters what they sing or dance to....any performance by a group of children always seems to make me cry.
Noah and his blond hair...he is definitely in the minority!
There were many favorites throughout the performance, such as Noah's conga skills....
other highlights included a sing along to Michael Jackson's We are the World, the Japanese Haru Ga Kita by the kindergartners, and of course the Hawaiian hula dance by the fifth graders. Can't wait until next year!
