Life Lately

According to mom's iPhone pics….
And a very random collection at that.  I'll try to dig through dad's soon. :)

Regular season soccer for Noah…at the end of which his coach took the entire team to iTrampoline for a party!

Dad and I have been trying to do a lot of running….here is a 4 a.m. shot, waiting for one of the races to begin.

Noah's flex season soccer…lost in the first round of playoffs. :(

Theo was trying to join in on bath time at the Selter house.

A few hours in Waikiki for mom and the boys.  :)

Which always leads to sleepy ones...

Swimming at a friend's pool…love when we have this entire pool to ourselves!

Dad was in MO for a bit back in October...

Noah and his buddy are always working on some sort of science experiment...

Winter is coming and the rainbows are all over the place!

I coached Caleb's soccer team this season….they were the best!  Such an awesome group of kids and parents.

Making kites at the pumpkin festival.

One of the hurricane/tropical storm scares this season.  Always makes for good people watching. Yikes!

Fun at the park with Theo!

Our soccer buddy pic! <3 p="">

A blink of an eye in AZ for mom and dad.  The best part was this sweet boy and his too big and too old brother and sister!

Trying to sneak in more beach time with my boys….when I should be studying, packing, cleaning, studying….

I wasn't kidding when I said a beach day always leads to tired littles!

Caleb's last Hahaione Fun Fair was last weekend!

Tunnel experience at the UH basketball game…the little boys on the left are Caleb's basketball team that I am helping coach this season.  They are the cutest and LOVED shaking hands with the big boys!
Jonah even snuck in on the action…can you spot him? (with the belly out)
The boys were able to head out on the court to welcome the team out for warm-ups!

As always, our crazy life goes on and on with out a moment to catch our breath!

The Little Things

This kid gets it.
As I was dropping the boys off at school this morning, the fourth grade crossing guard who helped them get out of the car in the car pool lane....him.  He's is who gets it.
My windows were down, so I could hear him well.  As I rolled to a stop he says, seemingly to no one in particular, "Alright folks, here goes!" Opens the door for Noah and Caleb.
"Let's go boys!  Move 'em out.  Single file.  Keep calm. Alrighty then. Nothing to see back here"
And as this young man knows, we keep their (often heavy) backpacks in the front seat which they must then retrieve.  Closes the back door and opens the front.
"Now time for the muscles to come out.  I'm sorry ladies, no pictures! Gentlemen, here are your bags, and ma'am, you have a wonderful day!"
Smiling ear to ear, I respond, "Thanks buddy. You too!"
And as I begin to drive away he turns to his fellow crossing guard and says,
"And that, Kylie, is how you make and adults day."
