Life Lately

According to my iPhone pictures....and as always, lots of them!

The joy of older brothers includes wearing a punch me sticker on his back on most days.
Warming up after a windy pool session!
Some tricycle riding around the pet lawn next to our building.
 Perhaps one binky too many!
Snuggling brothers  camping out on the living room floor.
 Ponytails!
 Our library....simply gorgeous.
The aisles....so completely different than the brand new modern libraries of Scottsdale. Love the old charm.
The missing member of One Direction....so handsome!
Creepy masks at the party store!
The obligatory big brother-little brother laundry basket ride.
Treats for a baby shower Eric and I threw for some friends.
At the baby shower the kids were LOVING the pin the pacifier on the baby game!
Sunset in Waikiki on a semi-date night for mom and dad...
That same night, Noah had left Dad a note inside his laptop, that was found the next morning.  It reads, "Caleb hit me in the chest with all his might.  it hurts when I breath hard.  From Noah 6-23-13 7:00p.m."
 Mahalo Tuesday movie day!
Christmas presents in June....Thanks to Ahhshh!
Just a little teeth brushing in my car seat in the living room.
Found this half eaten tomato in with the bunch.  Jonah eats everything!
The end of the rainbow is Dave and Busters! The kids were so excited!
Thankfully Noah's soccer practice is across the street.  Easy entertainment for Jonah during practice.

Jonah's most recent obsession is the train set I have managed to keep hidden in the closet for a while.  It's now like a BRAND NEW toy we've never seen!
 Caleb is toothless!
The boys tag-teamed and worked me over in chess one morning.  They are quite the team.  No kidding, I was really trying to win.
Rainy morning at the park, so we spent lots of time playing under the structure!
Window washing days are the best!
Jonah is avoiding his nap by trying to put Baby down for a nap first.
Noah and Caleb's newest obsession is balloon battles.  Seriously, this has provided hours of entertainment for them this summer.  They each pick balloons, even decorate them.  They then "battle" the balloons against one another in a fan blowing vertical.  It has turned into an entire production with sign-ups before hand, live announcements during the battle, and pretend money to be won.  The money is then used to buy more balloons or prizes.

The Little Things

This kid gets it.
As I was dropping the boys off at school this morning, the fourth grade crossing guard who helped them get out of the car in the car pool lane....him.  He's is who gets it.
My windows were down, so I could hear him well.  As I rolled to a stop he says, seemingly to no one in particular, "Alright folks, here goes!" Opens the door for Noah and Caleb.
"Let's go boys!  Move 'em out.  Single file.  Keep calm. Alrighty then. Nothing to see back here"
And as this young man knows, we keep their (often heavy) backpacks in the front seat which they must then retrieve.  Closes the back door and opens the front.
"Now time for the muscles to come out.  I'm sorry ladies, no pictures! Gentlemen, here are your bags, and ma'am, you have a wonderful day!"
Smiling ear to ear, I respond, "Thanks buddy. You too!"
And as I begin to drive away he turns to his fellow crossing guard and says,
"And that, Kylie, is how you make and adults day."
