Since Dad was not home for St. Patrick's Day, we skipped out on any "real" meals and opted for lots and lots of treats to get us through the day.
Things like....
rainbow cupcakes with green sprinkles, found here. Thank you Pinterest.
FYI, I def just used the box of white cake mix and dyed it....along with Betty Crocker white icing.
It's quite the process with dividing up the cake batter and all....
and then spooning it into the pan. But, what else did we have to do?
Our finished product. Complete with little boy finger swipes from the icing.
Not too bad for our first try. If I was going to get crazy with this next year, I might pipe the icing to look more cloud-like and then top with gold coins.
Green jello. A St. Patty's day staple.
And of course, some lucky charms with green milk.
Momma had to counteract all the unhealthy sweets with a green smoothie.
There were some lucky kiddos in this house that day!
