Pacific Aviation Museum

Today we headed (for the first time) to the Pacific Aviation Museum for the Biggest Little Airshow. All types of different, super cool, remote controlled airplanes and helicopters. This plus some interactive exhibits, food trucks, and a kids corner with rides...we had a blast!

I'm pretty sure there is only one small carnival rental company in the island. These exact swings have been riden before by these two.

Just a few of the planes...

Our boys turned the missle area into a microphone...

We even met a Pearl Harbor survivor, Dick Girocco.  He was a flight engineer on the PBY Catalina in hanger 54 during the attack.

It may be hard to see, but there are bullet holes in the glass that remain from the attacks.

This rescue helicopter was pretty cool. It was the helicopter used to retrieve the astronauts and capsule from Apollo 10.

We even played dress up....

....for quite some time. :)

Certainly a fun day!
