We were sort of in a state of transition around Halloween this year….unsure of whether or not we should trick-or-treat in our new neighborhood, or stay near our building in the city. In the end, we decided it best to stay near where we were sleeping that night and opted to trick-or-treat in the city, which ultimately afforded an entirely new Halloween experience!
The boys had a costume parade at school that morning and thankfully Dad was able to make it!
Caleb was a tad bit spooky in his skeleton costume...
Noah did a great job leading his buddy class through the parade….our little leader in training!
We decided to head out for an early dinner to get in some daylight trick-or-treating...
These boys…..getting too big.
And here is how our trick-or-treating began….in a strip mall. Talk about efficiency!
We didn't miss one stop!
Not even the liquor store! Haha!
It's still daylight and we needed to take a break.
Jonah only approached this man behind the safety of his stroller. Smart kid.
It's getting dark….time to head back to the building.
These were some tired boys!
But after about 20 minutes of cartoons and a few pieces of candy, they were ready for round 2! We started at the top and worked our way down the stairs.
There is a second grade teacher who lives here! She had the most decorations by far!
By the time we rounded the restaurants on the first floor of our building, Caleb was spent! Can you blame him….look how FULL his bag is!
This was the outcast pile…. :)
Because yes, my children are OCD and sorted all the different types!
