The Fourth

Fourth of July weekend was a good one around our house.  Although, it was very sad not to spend the day at the parade and fair in STL with family, we managed to stay busy and have some fun....and even sneak in a few fireworks shows.
On Wednesday, the boys and I went for a long walk and ended up playing at the beach for a while.  Always fun things to look at on our walks!
Especially the new pirate ship that docks by our house!
 Gorgeous day, as usual.
And that night we watched the Aloha Tower fireworks from our living room. :)

On the fourth, we were spoiled with fun pics and videos from our fam in STL.  Could these littles be any more irresistible! Love them all.
We, on the other hand, were starting our LONG soccer tournament weekend.
The boys got a lesson in marketing. :)
And they were off...first game 5-1 victory.
 Second game, 5-0 victory.
Snacks, as always, are the real deal here in Hawaii.  Mealtime for all!
After the games on the fourth, we headed home and grilled for an early dinner, while Caleb chilled in his favorite spot.
The we headed with Uncle Tom down to Ala Moana beach park for the fireworks.
 Not too crowded...

Boys went for a night swim while waiting for the fireworks...
These were some TIRED eyes after a long day.
Finally!  Thanks to our blanket neighbors who were broadcasting the music from magic island.  I was able to hear I'm Proud to be an American.  Best song ever.
I can't remember much of Friday.  Pretty sure we chillaxed all day until Noah's game at 5.  Winner winner, 4-0.
Saturday's game was HOT!  And by hot, I mean like high 80s. Funny how quickly we all accomodate.  Everyone was fighting for shade and crushed ice at halftime.  This game ended in a tie 0-0.  Noah had two HUGE saves late in the game.
Sunday' game ended in a tie as well, 1-1.  We were all pleased with an undefeated tournament and the boys were just excited to get medals and go swimming!

Brother love!

 Diving boards are the best!

Such a fun holiday weekend with good friends.  Perfect way to celebrate America.
Can't wait till next soccer season.
The end.
