Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a glorious holiday at our house.  I was spoiled with coffee and breakfast in bed, including presents and home-made cards.  One of my favorites was a paper Caleb made at school, saying I love my mom because she makes me cereal!  Complete with a picture.  Quite the gourmet chef I am.
My mom, Bushia, and I celebrated a week early with dinner and wine at the local culinary school.  The run a fine dining restaurant throughout out the semester so the students can get practice at cooking, baking, and serving.  It was awesome!  The food was delicious.  The dessert BUFFET was over the top.  And watching the first semester students fumble with service and nerves was great entertainment.  They were all so cute!

On Mother's Day we headed to Moana Lua Gardens to walk the grounds, take some pics, and then headed to the Dixie Grill for some ono BBQ for lunch!

The trees were so enticing to climb!

 But we just had to resist climbing them!

 The grounds were large, green, and perfect for tag!

 And there were plenty of places for Jonah to get into trouble.
