March Madness is Coming

We don't get a ton of sports action here in Hawaii....but we make do. Last night we headed over to the high school boy's state basketball championship game. We arrive at halftime o the D II game. Score 10-11. Oh boy. The crowd was scarce. Not a ton of cheering going on. With 26 seconds left the winning team cleared their bench to pull the starters out of the game. So weird. No one really stood up and cheered. I mean, maybe none of them are seniors (I wouldn't know as the programs were $7!) but it was still their last game of the season. Oh yeah, and these boys just won state!
The 7:00, D I game was much better. The stadium filled up, the crowd was in it (sort of) and the players were legit. I mean it was nothing like watching Webster Groves basketball but it was still fun. The underdogs won in overtime....breaking the hearts of many.
Noah, Caleb, and Jonah were much more interested in the popcorn and skittles than the basketball game!
