Christmas Lights

A few weeks ago, we attended the Honolulu Electric Light Parade just down the street from our house.  Had we known the enormity of this event and the crowd, we may have left a little earlier and staked out a spot.  Apparently our parade skills are getting a little rusty!

On our way!
Caleb, Bushia, Uncle Tom, and Noah stopping for a photo opp.
The weather, like much of the time here in Hawai'i, was just perfect.
The parade has lots of little cars and trucks with their awesome homemade decorations....don't think Disney electric parade. :)
What would a Christmas parade be without some Polynesian fire dancers?
And of course, nothing says Christmas like shave ice!  No really, just ask the Obamas. :)

We headed back to the Honolulu lights about a week later with some friends to get a better view of the Holiday decor.
The ocean tree was my favorite!
The boys appreciated the snowman family in their aloha attire....with the little one eating some shave ice!
And who can resist a Santa Claus giving the shaka.
How appropriate that Noah was wearing his SpongeBob t-shirt for a picture with the SpongeBob tree.

Only 6 more days!!!
