Fireworks on the 4th

Yesterday, during the late afternoon, early evening, we headed down to Maunalua Bay for a 4th of July celebration and fireworks.  We stopped for a photo opp near the patriotic pony, picked up a funnel cake topped with cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar and whipped cream, and then picked out our spot near the water with enough grassy area for the boys to play.

The only two pictures I managed to get of all three boys.....  :)

 Our view of Diamondhead....
Our sleeping pup...
Our game of two hand touch football....

And our sweet Baby Jonah on his first July 4th fireworks celebration.  We passed on the fireworks last year with a 4 day old baby.  As you can see, EVERYTHING goes in his mouth!

After playing for a while, and then being attacked by cockroaches, no joke, we left our spot near the water for another across the street where we pretended there to be no more bugs, namely cockroaches.  As we were walking home, Noah oh so kindly pointed out every cockroach we passed along the way.

And this last picture is courtesy of Noah and Caleb, taken of the street lights through their 3D fireworks glasses.  In Caleb's words, "Wow! Everything looks beautiful!"
