Koko Head Botanical Gardens: A Photo Tour

Inside Koko Head Crater is a beautiful, easy hiking trail.  About 2 miles, or so.  For no real reason, it reminded me of hiking at Powder Valley Nature Center in St. Louis, MO.  Maybe it was the fact that it was free.  And NO ONE else was there!  Love that.  And it is less than 2miles form our house.  Perfect.

The Plumeria Grove...
 smelled so good!

The cacti and agave plants in the American section of the garden reminded us of our home n AZ!

I was obsessed with this cactus plant hanging all over this tree.  I'm sure my horticulture readers out there are appalled at the fact that I don't know (and forgot to look at) the name of this plant.  But, I seriously have about 42 pictures of this area.  It was crazy!

The sausage tree from the African section.  Again, crazy!

Our only rough point of walk was this half inch thorn through the bottom of Noah's croc.  Next time, tennies for all.
