Let's start with the two yippees!
First off, Baby Jonah slept for 6 straight hours last night. Now, this is not the first time this has happened or the longest he has ever slept, but lately his nights have been a little rough. So we are celebrating this stretch of sleep! The second yippee comes for my man Caleb. I think I mentioned this on here while I was pregnant that he was having accidents at night. This after he has been potty trained through the night since age 2. The episodes started shortly after we told him about the new baby and continued off and on until our recent move. Since living in Hawaii he has had only one accident! I'm not sure if it is a coincidence or not, but I think it is worth a mention....Baby Jonah is less needy of mom's 24/7 attention. And mom is on a break from school in order to help the boys get adjusted to our new home. This translates to more individual attention for Caleb, especially from momma. Never underestimate the power of one-on-one attention for your Little's.
And finally, Murphy's law strikes again. Right at the beginning of my 4th hour of consecutive sleep last night, my dream begins. At least I think I'm dreaming. I hear footsteps on the stairs....I hear a boy crying. Please let this just be a dream. No such luck. In walks Noah, crying in pain for the aching, growing pains in his legs. Mom is up, out of bed doling out the medication. I was so close to sleeping 4 hours straight! Ah, well....such is life.
