On the Sunday prior to the actual holiday, we had planned to celebrate Thanksgiving together with our Phoenix family, however Megs caught a sick bug, so she and Uncle Dave missed out. Luckily we have some great friend sin the neighborhood who were willing to step in and help eat all the food! It was our first time preparing a complete Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, mashed potatoes (and pureed cauliflower), gravy, corn, green bean casserole, homemade stuffing, rolls, and homemade cranberry sauce. Here is a photo of the aftermath.
Of course there was head gear worn by all. Here are some of the young Pilgrim lads in attendance.
And of course, the desserts!!! Homemade apple pie. Homemade pumpkin pie. And a pumpkin bunt cake. Mmmm.
The apple pie was compliments of these two sweeties.
Good times, fun times had by all.
