Just a quick update on our fun-filled busy weekend...
Noah spent the weekend in Payson, AZ, soaking up the cooler temps. Lots of playing outdoors with the dogs, swimming in the lake, a campfire with s'mores, and another day of swimming with some rock slides involved. He returned home Sunday night around 6 and hit the bed soon there after! Thanks Emigs for taking care of our boy.
Caleb's big weekend was made special by getting to sleep in mom and dad's bed. Funny how that mere suggestion can turn a tearful tantrum into a smile. We also attended a birthday party Saturday afternoon. It was the ultimate Star Wars party complete with trivia games for the adults (Eric and I didn't know one answer), Jedi training, 2 pinatas, pin the death star on the galaxy, hot potato, a visit from Darth Vader, a balloon person/maker (?), and a face painter. It was over the top for five years old. Perfect.
We also snuck in a fun night with some friends, a little work for Dad, and some homework for Mom. We are rolling full speed ahead through this school year and fiscal year end. Calm shall bestow upon our family sometime again soon....just not sure when.
