One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure

Or in Eric's case, every man's trash, is his treasure. Eric ahas always been the type to slow down as he drives past a trash pile. I have often received reports from him about a cool couch, table, or random appliance he saw on the side of the road...just in case I wanted to swing by and take a look, or pick it up. The man is thrifty, I must admit. He saved the day on family vacation when he found a grill in the neighborhood garbage for our grilled shrimp dinner. The best part about finding a grill in the trash was that it stayed at the vacation house, and did not come home to mine.

Yesterday I came home to a new goodie found in our neighbor's trash. Not quite the same as the goodies Eric used to find from our neighbors at Forest View Apartments in Crestwood. :)
He is extremely happy about his new golf bag. It is very old school, just like Eric, and even has wooden legs. Even I think it looks pretty cool...as long as it doesn't take up my car space in the garage.
